Dr Miguel Gonçalves Ferreira is an otorhinolaryngologist and facial plastic surgeon from Portugal, with a particular focus on rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty. His clinical interests also include blepharoplasty, otoplasty and other facial aesthetic procedures.
He completed his PhD in Rhinoplasty at the University of Porto in 2020 and served as a Teaching Assistant in Otolaryngology at ICBAS, University of Porto, from 2005 to 2018. His academic work has also included research into structural geometry and three-dimensional modelling of the nasal pyramid.
Dr Ferreira has authored and co-authored several scientific publications on rhinoplasty and is a regular invited speaker at international conferences and courses. His work brings together clinical rhinoplasty, facial aesthetics and an academic interest in nasal structure and surgical planning.
He is a member of national and international professional societies and is actively involved in education and scientific exchange within rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery. His current practice is centred on rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery in Portugal.
