2. Eligibility

RIAMS courses, webinars, Communities and educational programmes are intended for qualified medical professionals and students in relevant fields, subject to the eligibility criteria specified for each offering.

By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet the applicable eligibility requirements.

RIAMS may request documentation to verify professional qualifications or eligibility. Registration or payment does not override the eligibility requirements of a particular programme.

3. Registration & Accounts

Participants are responsible for providing accurate registration information and maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials.

Accounts and access privileges are intended for the registered individual and may not be transferred or shared without prior written authorisation.

One account is for one person. Letting anyone else sign in to your account, use it on your behalf or view your purchased content through it, including by sharing login codes, is not permitted.

To protect purchased content, RIAMS records the devices, approximate locations and network addresses used to sign in. An account may be signed in on a limited number of devices at a time, and signing in on new devices may be limited within a period. If you reach this limit, please contact us to reset your devices.

Where RIAMS has reasonable grounds to believe an account has been shared, it may sign the account out, restrict access, or suspend or terminate the account. Refund eligibility in such cases will be determined in accordance with the RIAMS Refund Policy and applicable law.

RIAMS reserves the right to decline, suspend or cancel registrations where information is inaccurate or misleading, eligibility requirements are not met, or there is evidence of fraudulent activity or misuse of the platform.

4. Fees & Payments

Applicable fees for courses, webinars, Communities and other educational offerings are displayed during registration or checkout in the relevant currency, together with applicable taxes and charges.

Online payments are processed through our authorised payment gateway, Razorpay, or other payment methods made available by RIAMS.

Registration or access is confirmed following successful payment, unless an alternative arrangement has been expressly agreed upon in writing.

Where instalment or partial-payment options are offered, the applicable payment schedule and conditions will be communicated at the time of registration. Participants remain responsible for completing payments in accordance with those agreed terms.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by the RIAMS Refund Policy and any programme-specific terms communicated at the time of registration.

Participants are encouraged to review the applicable refund conditions, eligibility, timelines and non-refundable components before completing a purchase.

Any refund or cancellation request will be assessed in accordance with the applicable policy and prevailing law.

6. Course, Community & Webinar Content

RIAMS educational offerings may include lectures, live demonstrations, surgical or procedural videos, webinars, discussions, downloadable materials and other learning resources.

All content is provided for educational and professional-development purposes.

RIAMS may make reasonable changes to programme schedules, faculty participation, delivery formats or educational content where necessary. Significant changes affecting registered participants will be communicated through appropriate channels.

Access to recorded content, live sessions, downloadable resources and other learning materials is subject to the duration and conditions specified for the particular course, Community or programme.

Participation in a live webinar does not automatically include access to a recording unless expressly stated.

7. Intellectual Property

Content available on this website and through RIAMS programmes, including text, images, presentations, lectures, videos, surgical demonstrations, educational resources and course materials, is owned by RIAMS or its respective faculty members, contributors or licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Participants receive access solely for their personal professional education, subject to the conditions of the relevant programme.

Unauthorised recording, reproduction, downloading, redistribution, publication, commercial use or sharing of restricted content is not permitted without prior written authorisation from the relevant rights holder.

Materials expressly made available for download may be used for their stated educational purpose, subject to any accompanying restrictions.

8. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to maintain professional standards of conduct and to treat faculty, staff and fellow participants with respect.

Harassment, abusive behaviour, misrepresentation, unauthorised sharing of educational content or conduct that compromises the learning environment is not permitted.

RIAMS may take appropriate action in response to violations, including warnings, restriction of access or removal from a programme.

Where access is terminated due to a material violation of these terms, refund eligibility will be determined in accordance with the applicable policy and law.

9. Educational Disclaimer

RIAMS programmes are designed to support professional education and continuing learning. They do not replace independent clinical judgement, appropriate professional training, institutional protocols or applicable regulatory requirements.

Clinical techniques, opinions and approaches presented by faculty may vary and reflect the experience and professional judgement of the respective speakers.

Participants are responsible for assessing the suitability of any technique or knowledge before applying it in clinical practice, including ensuring that they possess the necessary qualifications, training, competence and legal authorisation.

Responsibility for individual patient assessment, treatment decisions and clinical outcomes remains with the treating healthcare professional.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RIAMS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the use of its website, educational resources or participation in its programmes.

RIAMS does not guarantee particular educational, professional or clinical outcomes from participation in any programme.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law and any mandatory statutory jurisdiction, disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Gurugram, Haryana.

RIAMS Communities provide access to designated educational content and learning resources for a period of 12 months from the date of successful payment.

Community access is personal to the registered participant and is non-transferable. Access to lectures, webinars, videos, downloadable materials and other resources is subject to the features specified for the selected Community.

Educational content may be updated periodically, including the addition, replacement or withdrawal of individual resources, without affecting the overall access duration.

Community access expires automatically at the end of the 12-month period unless renewed by the participant.

Renewal is entirely manual. RIAMS does not automatically renew Community access or charge participants for subsequent access periods without a new purchase.

15. Hands-on Training, Clinical Participation & Patient Confidentiality

Participation in hands-on courses, surgical demonstrations, clinical observerships and practical training is subject to the eligibility requirements, institutional policies and applicable professional regulations.

The extent of permitted clinical participation may vary according to the participant’s qualifications, experience, programme format, supervising faculty and institutional authorisations.

Participants must comply with instructions from supervising faculty and clinical staff, applicable infection-control and patient-safety protocols, and all relevant institutional requirements.

Clinical participation is permitted only within the scope authorised for the participant. Registration in a programme does not independently confer permission to perform any clinical or surgical procedure.

Patient confidentiality and dignity must be maintained at all times. Photography, audio or video recording, and the sharing of patient-identifiable information are not permitted without the necessary permissions and applicable patient consent.

RIAMS may restrict or discontinue an individual’s clinical participation where necessary for patient safety, regulatory compliance or professional conduct.

16. Privacy & Personal Data

RIAMS collects and processes personal information for purposes including registration, eligibility verification, payment administration, educational access, programme communication and related operational requirements.

The collection, use, storage, sharing and protection of personal information are governed by the RIAMS Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection laws.

Participants are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy to understand how their information is handled and how they may exercise their applicable rights. Where information is required for professional eligibility verification or programme administration, failure to provide the necessary details may affect registration or participation.

17. Certificates, Completion Requirements & Accreditation

Certificates of participation, attendance or completion may be issued for eligible RIAMS programmes, subject to the requirements specified for the particular educational activity.

These requirements may include attendance, completion of prescribed learning modules, assessments, practical participation or other programme-specific criteria.

Registration or payment alone does not guarantee the issuance of a certificate.

Certificates issued by RIAMS confirm participation or completion as specified and do not independently confer professional qualifications, clinical privileges, specialist recognition or regulatory authorisation.

Continuing medical education credits or accreditation will apply only where expressly stated for the relevant programme and supported by the appropriate accrediting body.

18. Platform Availability & Technical Interruptions

RIAMS makes reasonable efforts to maintain the accessibility and functionality of its website, learning platform and associated digital services.

Temporary interruptions may occur due to scheduled maintenance, technical issues, third-party service disruptions or circumstances beyond reasonable operational control.

Where a significant interruption affects access to purchased educational content, RIAMS will assess appropriate corrective measures, which may include restoration of access, an extension of the access period or another suitable remedy.

Where a scheduled live session is materially disrupted, RIAMS may arrange an alternative session or other appropriate resolution, depending on the circumstances and the nature of the programme.

Nothing in this section limits any remedy available under applicable law.
